Project Coordinator – LIFE Project

About the role

The Project Coordinator will lead the LIFE Project in Mindanao, ensuring high‑fidelity implementation of the Theory of Change and overseeing technical and operational coordination across multiple area programs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end project management for a multi‑year rollout across ten area programs, delivering activities, outputs and outcomes on time and within budget.
• Lead partnership building with Christian churches, Islamic scholars, faith‑based organisations and local government units, and facilitate the Multi‑Faith Technical Working Group.
• Design and execute capacity‑building pipelines for faith leaders, behaviour‑change ambassadors and field staff, and transition facilitation leadership to local actors.
• Oversee the evidence and learning system, including baseline, routine monitoring, cohort tracking, and end‑line assessments, ensuring high‑quality data management and adaptive management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, development management or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive project management experience in international development, preferably in fragile, multi‑faith contexts in Mindanao.
• Strong experience in conflict‑sensitive programming, Do No Harm frameworks and risk mitigation.
• Professional fluency in English and Filipino/Tagalog; knowledge of local Mindanao dialects is an advantage.

Required skills

• Technical expertise in Design, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (DMEAL), including logic models and Theory of Change.
• Practical experience using mobile data collection tools and managing performance dashboards.
• Ability to manage project finances, budgeting and procurement in coordination with finance and supply‑chain teams.
