Project Coordinator (ACCESS 2 Project)

About the role

Plan International Pilipinas is looking for an experienced project coordinator to lead the implementation of the ACCESS 2 Project, an ongoing humanitarian and disaster preparedness initiative supporting communities and schools affected by complex emergencies in BARMM. The role is project-based until May 31, 2027, reports to the Program Operations Manager and requires fieldwork to project areas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for project implementation across the target areas in BARMM.
• Coordinate with consortium partners, government agencies and local stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Monitor project progress, budgets and resources to ensure timely and quality delivery of activities.
• Build partnerships and represent the organisation in humanitarian and DRRM coordination platforms.
• Identify challenges, risks and opportunities and lead adaptive solutions to keep the project on track.
• Prepare and submit project reports, updates and documentation in line with donor and consortium requirements.
• Supervise and support project staff, fostering collaboration, accountability and high performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Disaster Risk Management, Social Sciences, Community Development, Urban Planning or a related field.
• At least 3 years of project management experience in humanitarian, disaster-prone, conflict-affected or high-risk settings.
• Experience in DRRM, emergency preparedness and response, recovery, resilience building or humanitarian programming.
• Experience working in Mindanao, particularly BARMM, is highly desirable.
