Production Operator – Semiconductor Test

About the role

The Production Operator will work on the Solaris line at Coherent Philippines, operating automated test equipment for II‑VI Laser Enterprise. You will be responsible for meeting productivity, quality, efficiency, cycle‑time and other KPI targets while ensuring compliance with clean‑room standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated semiconductor test equipment.
• Achieve daily productivity, quality, and efficiency goals set by supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of cycle times and KPI performance.
• Follow clean‑room protocols and safety procedures, including MSDS handling.
• Collaborate with team members and, when needed, lead small production groups.

Required profile

• College degree or 2‑year technical course graduate.
• 2‑3 years experience in semiconductor assembly, burn‑in or test production.
• Hands‑on attitude, initiative and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent manual dexterity and vision correctable with glasses (no contact lenses).
• Ability to stand for long periods and adapt to changing daily tasks.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
