Production Operator

About the role

The Production Operator works under the Production Supervisor to operate and maintain assigned machines throughout start‑up, production, and shutdown phases. This role ensures compliance with standard operating procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machines according to SOPs, work instructions, and machine manuals, adhering to safety, quality, and maintenance standards.
• Perform basic equipment care, cleaning, sanitation, and machine preparation during start‑up, shutdown, and routine cleaning cycles.
• Conduct inspections and sampling, report non‑conformances, and coordinate corrective actions with the Production Supervisor.
• Apply and monitor EHS hazard identification, Good Manufacturing Practices, QMS, HACCP, and HALAL requirements; participate in internal audits as needed.
• Prepare and submit production, inventory, and monitoring reports; support turnover activities.

Required profile

• 1–10 years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to participate in preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Machine operation and preventive maintenance.
• Basic equipment care, cleaning, and sanitation.
• Inspection and sampling techniques.
• Knowledge of EHS, GMP, QMS, HACCP, and HALAL standards.
• Production reporting and inventory tracking.
