Production Manager

About the role

Coherent Corp. is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead its semiconductor and electronics manufacturing operations in the Philippines. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and continuously improving production processes to meet customer demand while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with demand and inventory.
• Supervise assembly, packaging, and testing lines, optimizing equipment, material, and labor utilization.
• Monitor manufacturing yields, scrap rates, and throughput, taking corrective actions on constrained equipment.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and support internal/external audits.
• Lead a team of supervisors, line leaders, and operators, providing training on safety, skills, and continuous‑improvement practices.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S initiatives, implement KPIs and dashboards (yield, OEE, cycle time, etc.).
• Maintain a safe, environmentally compliant cleanroom environment and enforce EHS standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage diverse teams and solve complex operational problems.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• ERP and MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Experience with OEE, KPI dashboards, and production performance metrics.
