Procurement Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Supervisor to lead our procurement team in supporting the production of pumps. The role involves managing RFQs, purchase orders, supplier relationships and ensuring timely, cost‑effective sourcing for both production and project needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the procurement team handling RFQs, PO processing and supplier coordination.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, handling escalations and negotiations.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, benchmarking and negotiations.
• Ensure timely procurement to meet production and project requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost) and implement improvement actions.
• Identify and mitigate supply‑chain risks such as dual sourcing and inventory planning.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance and global teams.
• Develop, enforce and continuously improve procurement processes, policies and compliance standards.
• Track KPIs and prepare procurement reports for management.
• Coach and develop team members to enhance performance and capability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead a procurement team and manage supplier relationships.
• Strong communication skills with internal stakeholders and direct manager.
