Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Medical City South Luzon seeks a highly analytical Procurement Specialist to ensure timely, cost‑effective, and policy‑compliant acquisition of hospital supplies and equipment. The role supports the organization’s strategic goals by managing supplier relationships, contracts, and sourcing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement processes for medical equipment, CAPEX projects, and group purchasing initiatives.
• Manage contract requirements, performance monitoring, and documentation.
• Collect and analyze procurement and market data to inform sourcing decisions.
• Prepare sourcing documents, cost accounting reports, and procurement dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and healthcare best practices.
• Engage stakeholders across clinical, finance, and operations teams to align procurement strategies.
• Support personal capability building within the procurement function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 3–6 years of procurement experience, with at least five years in a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management, and contract management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while handling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
