Procurement Engineer

About the role

The Procurement Engineer is responsible for sourcing and acquiring the materials and services needed to keep production running smoothly. This role works closely with engineering and supply‑chain teams to ensure that specifications are met while maintaining cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct procurement activities to acquire materials and services effectively.
• Analyze supplier capabilities and negotiate contracts to secure cost‑effective purchasing.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define product specifications and requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain uninterrupted production supplies.
• Assist in the evaluation and performance assessment of suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Approximately 12 years of experience in procurement or related engineering roles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using procurement software platforms.
