Procurement Associate

About the role

The Procurement Associate supports Aboitiz Foods' procurement team in acquiring the goods and services essential for smooth operations. This position ensures a cost‑effective and efficient purchasing process, contributing directly to the company's overall success.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the procurement team in sourcing and purchasing materials and services.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Coordinate with logistics and inventory teams to guarantee timely delivery.
• Support cost‑control initiatives and help negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business‑related field.
• 1‑2 years of procurement experience, ideally in a mill or similar operation.
• Working knowledge of procurement procedures, logistics, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with feed‑mill operations.
• Strong buying and negotiation abilities.
• Good planning, analytical, and judgment skills.
• High sense of urgency, integrity and common sense.
