Procurement Administrator – French Speaker

About the role

The Procurement Administrator will join Vestas' Buying team to execute operational buying activities in line with the company's Procurement Policy. The role focuses on creating and managing purchase orders, supporting invoice processing, and delivering high‑quality service to internal stakeholders and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Create non‑catalogue purchase orders through SAP and other Vestas systems, ensuring compliance with policy.
• Process PO requests within agreed Service Level Agreements to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to resolve operational issues related to purchase orders.
• Modify, cancel or close purchase orders as needed.
• Support the Accounts Payable team by handling escalated or exception invoices.
• Provide high‑quality service to vendors, facilities, headquarters and SSC teammates.
• Reject transactions that do not meet policy or documentation requirements.
• Perform testing for system enhancements to avoid production disruptions.
• Generate reports on open orders, supplier confirmations and delivery dates.
• Cover for team members and provide backup support when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3‑5 years of experience in buying, procurement or supply‑chain functions.
• Strong knowledge of SAP production and procurement modules (SAP PE1 preferred).
• Good understanding of SAP procurement master data (PIR, vendor master, quota arrangements, source lists).
• Fluent in English and French (written and verbal).
• Ability to work shifts and occasional overtime.
