Privacy Impact Consultant

About the role

EY Information Security is hiring a Privacy Impact Consultant in Taguig. The consultant supports Information Security and other teams in navigating the Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) process, helping maintain data privacy standards and compliance with local and global data privacy laws. The role works with technical and business teams, the General Counsel Office and the Global Privacy Network.

Key responsibilities

• Input, analyze and report metrics and activity plans to continuously improve existing privacy frameworks
• Develop an understanding of the PIA process in EY Technology and assess whether a technology requires a PIA
• Assess privacy risks associated with EY technologies and work with technology teams to complete the PIA from initiation to completion
• Collaborate with the Privacy Consulting Team and conduct research to guide key decisions
• Assist customer support with privacy-specific inquiries and keep up to date with global data privacy laws and corporate policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Degree (Bachelor's, Master's or Judicial Doctorate) in Computer Science, Information Security or Global Policies preferred
• At least 4 years' experience in privacy and data protection, risk management, compliance or information security administration
• Solid knowledge of local and global data privacy laws and regulations, and experience conducting privacy and risk assessments
• Experience working with technology teams, especially information security
• Ability to work outside typical hours as required by a global team

Required skills

• Deep understanding of privacy frameworks such as GDPR
• Intermediate MS Office skills
• Understanding of project management methodology (planning, schedule and scope)
• Fluent English communication, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
