Platform Engineer – Internal Developer Platforms

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for a Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain internal developer platforms and shared infrastructure services. You will work onsite in Cagayan De Oro, collaborating with engineering teams to improve productivity, reliability, and security across cloud and hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate internal developer platforms and shared services.
• Create scalable tooling and automation to boost developer productivity.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and infrastructure provisioning.
• Partner with engineering teams to standardize environments and enhance platform usability.
• Ensure platform security, performance, and high availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python, Go, Bash, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation.
