About the role
The Plant Operations Manager will lead a large‑scale food manufacturing facility in Pasig, overseeing production, engineering, quality, warehouse and maintenance functions. This senior leadership position is responsible for driving operational excellence, cost efficiency and continuous improvement in a high‑volume dough‑based environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee end‑to‑end plant operations, ensuring alignment of production, engineering, quality, warehouse and maintenance.
- Drive operational KPIs such as efficiency, output, waste reduction, downtime and service levels.
- Lead plant‑wide planning and execution to meet demand and support business growth.
- Manage high‑volume dough‑based manufacturing, including production planning, scheduling, capacity management and manpower deployment.
- Ensure strict compliance with GMP, HACCP, sanitation and food‑safety regulations.
- Implement continuous‑improvement initiatives using Lean, TPM, Kaizen or similar methodologies.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximise equipment reliability.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics and supply‑chain teams to maintain uninterrupted production flow and optimal inventory levels.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Operations Management or a related field (MBA or postgraduate qualification is a plus).
- 12‑15+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in food, dough‑based or baked‑goods production.
- Proven senior plant leadership experience (e.g., Plant Head, Operations Director, Manufacturing Director).
- Deep knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food‑safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Extensive experience managing large‑scale, high‑volume production facilities and cross‑functional teams.
