Planning Engineer

About the role

The Planning Engineer will develop, maintain, and monitor integrated project schedules throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with milestones and stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop baseline programmes, recovery schedules, progress updates, and look‑ahead plans.
• Coordinate with project, commercial, procurement, and construction teams to align schedules.
• Analyze performance, identify delays and risks, and recommend mitigation measures.
• Support claims, extensions of time, and schedule‑related commercial matters.
• Track progress and provide accurate reporting to stakeholders and clients.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 + years of planning/scheduling experience in construction projects.
• Experience with large‑scale projects such as data centres, hospitals, infrastructure, industrial or mission‑critical facilities.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, resource planning, progress measurement and risk management.

Required skills

• Extensive hands‑on experience using Primavera P6.
• Planning and scheduling for both CSA and MEP works.
• Developing detailed construction schedules, cash‑flow forecasts and manpower histograms.
