PHP Developer

About the role

We are seeking a talented, detail‑oriented PHP Developer to write clean, maintainable, and efficient back‑end code. You will collaborate with a cross‑functional team to design robust architecture, scale web applications, and ensure high performance and responsiveness to front‑end requests.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable, testable, and reusable PHP modules and back‑end features.
• Integrate third‑party services and APIs such as Google, Stripe, and social platforms.
• Design, optimise, and manage relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Troubleshoot, test, and debug code to resolve performance bottlenecks and security issues.
• Partner with front‑end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers for feature rollouts.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for modules and workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 3+ years of professional PHP development experience.
• Strong grasp of Object‑Oriented Programming and MVC design patterns.
• Experience with modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database management.
• Experience using Git version control.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile team environment.
