Pharmacovigilance Associate

About the role

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation. As a Pharmacovigilance Associate in the Philippines, you will monitor and ensure the safety of pharmaceutical products by collecting, analysing and reporting adverse event information. The role delivers pharmacovigilance and drug safety work to a high standard, working closely with the team and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and review adverse event reports to ensure accurate and timely reporting in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct signal detection and risk assessment activities to identify potential safety issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on safety-related inquiries and investigations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations and industry best practices.
• Assist in preparing safety reports and regulatory submissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety or a related area, preferably in a clinical or pharmaceutical environment.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup (2-3 days per week in the office in Makati City).
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
