Pest Control Officer – Laguna

About the role

The Pest Control Officer will be responsible for overseeing all pest management activities within a food manufacturing facility in Laguna. This role ensures compliance with company procedures, regulatory standards, and promotes a safe, pest‑free environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily pest control operations and verify adherence to company procedures.
• Inspect traps, perform fumigation, misting, spraying, and conduct product inspections.
• Review pest control reports and maintain fumigation certificates.
• Manage pest control consumables and chemicals inventory.
• Provide basic pest control training to employees.
• Conduct facility audits and prepare monthly trend reports.
• Determine appropriate treatment methods to prevent infestations.
• Update pest control policies, MSDS, and chemical safety procedures.
• Participate in internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Pest Control Technician/Officer in a food manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Entomology, Biology, Environmental Science, or related agricultural/scientific field.
• Certified Pesticide Applicator‑Fumigator issued by the Fertilizer and Pesticides Authority.
• Relevant training in BPI Accreditation, Integrated Pest Management, Pesticide Safety, GAP or Food Safety.

Required skills
