About the role
We are seeking a qualified Personal Injury Case Manager with lien experience to serve as the primary liaison between patients, medical providers, and attorneys. The role involves interpreting medical records, managing treatment funding, and ensuring compliance with legal and insurance requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Review initial and daily medical reports to assess injury severity and treatment recommendations.
- Verify causality of treatments to ensure they relate to the accident, not pre‑existing conditions.
- Act as an internal insurance adjuster, approving or denying treatment requests based on policy limits.
- Coordinate referrals within the client’s approved network and locate nearby providers to guarantee appointment attendance.
- Manage a caseload of 25–30 active personal injury cases, guiding each from intake through settlement.
- Serve as the central communication bridge among patients, medical providers, and attorneys.
Required profile
- Philippine‑licensed lawyer.
- Ability to independently read and interpret clinical notes, surgical recommendations, and diagnostic results.
- Case management experience supporting a US personal injury law firm or medical funding/lien company.
- Familiarity with the lifecycle of a personal injury lawsuit (intake, treatment, settlement).
Required skills
- Proficiency with legal CRM platforms such as Filevine, Salesforce, and Smart Advocate.
- Medical record interpretation and lien verification.
