People Technology Specialist

About the role

The People Technology Specialist will support Aurecon’s HR system projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Working within the People Technology team, you will help ensure that HR technology solutions are aligned with business needs and delivered efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned tasks that align with team and project goals, including system testing, documentation, and release roll‑outs.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical enablement, respond to stakeholder queries, and deliver training and support.
• Conduct UAT, execute test scripts, document defects, and assist in solution validation.
• Support automation and AI initiatives to improve HR processes.
• Maintain and enhance Workday configurations, ensuring compliance with HR requirements.
• Monitor emerging trends in People technology and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting HR systems, preferably Workday.
• Experience coordinating system testing, UAT, and release activities.
• Familiarity with HR processes, policies, and data privacy considerations.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams including HR, IT, and vendors.
• Strong attention to detail, time‑management, and adaptability.
