Workday Specialist

About the role

As a Workday Specialist, you will be responsible for the support, configuration, enhancement, and continuous improvement of Aurecon's Workday HCM platform. You will provide third‑level technical and functional support across Workday modules and integrations, deliver scalable solutions aligned to business requirements, and support Workday releases and platform improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously improve and simplify Workday HCM processes by building enhancements and implementing changes.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for Workday integration patterns and related systems such as AD, ADGM, and Stage.
• Manage service and support requests, including business process, security, and configuration changes.
• Execute end‑to‑end Workday defect management, from investigation to post‑deployment support.
• Configure and deploy Workday enhancements that align with business requirements and technology standards.
• Support bi‑annual Workday releases, including impact assessment, regression testing, validation, and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with People, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver effective configurations and technical solutions.
• Maintain accurate system documentation and ensure adherence to governance, quality, security, Agile, and ITSM practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Workday HCM implementation and support, including hands‑on configuration and release activities.
• Proven experience with Core HCM and Absence modules, and configuring business processes, security, custom objects, validations, reports, and integrations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of HR/employee lifecycle processes and experience working with ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
