Occupational Nurse

About the role

The Occupational Nurse is responsible for monitoring employee health, ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards, and providing immediate medical care when needed. This role supports a corporate/industrial clinic and works closely with physicians, OSH managers, and other nursing staff.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to daily employee health needs and facilitate emergency transfers.
• Administer first aid, Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR as required.
• Provide telemedicine services within the area of responsibility.
• Collaborate with physicians and OSH supervisors to create individualized care plans.
• Dispense over‑the‑counter and prescribed medications.
• Maintain systematic filing of pre‑placement, annual physical, and other health records.
• Validate medical certificates and issue Fit‑to‑Work clearances.
• Track health metrics such as COVID‑19 monitoring and food‑borne disease incidents.
• Prepare monthly clinic operation updates and annual medical reports.
• Document work‑related accidents in the EC Logbook.
• Manage clinic inventory and request replenishments.
• Promote workplace health and safety through education and information materials.
• Assist in developing emergency procedures and health programs.
• Conduct home visits when requested by OSH management.
• Coordinate HMO‑related concerns with HR.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a valid PRC nursing license.
• Open to fresh graduates; corporate/industrial experience is a plus.
• OHNAP certification preferred.
• Valid training in BLS, First‑Aid, CPR, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Red Cross certification preferred).
• Optional BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety & Health) certificate.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint) including VLOOKUP.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) skills.
• First‑Aid competency.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) skills.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) knowledge.
