Nursing Instructor

About the role

IGH is establishing a new academy in the Philippines to support its international nursing program. The Nursing Instructor will lead clinical education activities, ensuring that training and workshops are delivered effectively to prepare nurses for practice in U.S. healthcare settings.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Education Manager, Director of Clinical Education, and partner healthcare systems to develop and update educational materials.
• Design, implement, and evaluate orientation, continuing education, competency, and simulation programs for nurse trainees.
• Monitor and track nurse performance in classroom and simulation settings, providing objective assessments using standardized rubrics.
• Deliver constructive feedback, develop performance‑improvement plans, and mentor nurses needing additional support.
• Prepare monthly performance reports for IGH leadership and partner organizations.
• Maintain a calendar of educational activities and ensure coordination across programs.
• Track key performance indicators such as enrollment, module completion, attrition, and attendance rates.
• Provide mentorship in soft skills, communication, English proficiency, and vocal confidence.
• Serve as educator, change agent, consultant, leader, and role model for lifelong learning.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse, preferably licensed in both the Philippines and the United States.
• 2–5 years of clinical/bedside nursing experience.
• At least one year of experience in nursing education or training.
