Nursing Clinical Instructor

About the role

The Nursing Clinical Instructor will guide nursing students during their clinical rotations, linking classroom theory with hands‑on patient care. Reporting to the Clinical Coordinator, the instructor ensures that learning objectives are met across affiliated hospitals and clinics.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Clinical Coordinator to develop and evaluate nursing courses.
• Interpret program goals and learning objectives for learners and practice site staff.
• Assist the RLE Coordinator in daily liaison with affiliated clinical agencies.
• Ensure compliance with learner assignments and program agreements.
• Supervise learner rotations, helping students understand duties in various clinical settings.
• Integrate theory and practice, aligning clinical lessons with completed classroom material.
• Observe, guide, and evaluate learners' clinical reasoning and practical skills.
• Conduct formal performance evaluations, provide feedback, and submit grades on schedule.
• Design and facilitate clinical seminars and related learning experiences.
• Provide timely feedback to the RLE Coordinator on learner and site performance.
• Address health, safety, and security concerns for on‑site learners.
• Prepare periodic performance reports and other required documentation.
• Participate in promotional activities, enrollment campaigns, and institutional events.
• Continuously upgrade knowledge and skills through training and professional development.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license.
• Minimum several years of clinical practice experience in a hospital or similar setting.
• Prior experience in teaching, preceptorship, or clinical supervision.
• Familiarity with curriculum development and evaluation processes.
• Ability to assess and provide constructive feedback on clinical performance.
• Commitment to student safety, health, and professional development.
