Network Infra Specialist

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking a Network Infra Specialist to provide 24/7 technical support for cloud‑based solutions. You will ensure seamless operation of applications, DevOps tools, middleware, security and infrastructure components while building and maintaining development tools and networking environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 24/7 technical support for cloud solutions across applications, DevOps, middleware, security and infrastructure.
• Develop and configure infrastructure as code using Ansible and Terraform; manage Dev, Test and Production environments on Windows, Linux and Unix servers.
• Ensure system security by addressing cybersecurity threats, applying updates and fixes.
• Manage cloud application IDs, implement auto‑scaling, and maintain disaster‑recovery and redundancy capabilities.
• Identify and resolve issues involving APIs, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, micro‑services, containers, Kubernetes nodes and overall infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
• Proven experience in LAN/WAN routing and switching configuration, implementation and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing and supporting next‑generation firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet or Cisco Firepower.
• Solid understanding of network security, performance monitoring and optimization.
