Mulesoft Senior Consultant & Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Integration Architect/Manager to lead enterprise‑wide API and integration initiatives. The role combines strategic design, delivery governance, and hands‑on development to ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable integration solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise API and integration strategies.
• Provide delivery governance, decision records, and quality controls to minimise rework.
• Manage stakeholders and vendors, aligning scope, milestones, and technical standards.
• Translate solution intent into build‑ready artefacts (interfaces, data flows, controls, environments).
• Embed security, privacy, and identity controls into designs from day one.
• Leverage reference architectures and accelerators to increase delivery velocity.
• Design operational readiness artefacts such as monitoring, support models, runbooks, and auditability.

Required profile

• 10‑14+ years overall IT experience with 7‑10+ years MuleSoft integration architecture (or 6‑8 years overall IT with 4‑6 years hands‑on MuleSoft).
• Systems thinking across complex integrations and ability to adapt delivery approaches (agile, waterfall, hybrid).
• Strong governance, stakeholder, and vendor management capabilities.
• Proven ability to maintain requirements traceability and define clear “definition of done”.
• Experience translating architecture into executable delivery artefacts.
• Security‑by‑design mindset and operational readiness planning.

Required skills

• MuleSoft Certified Developer (Consultant) and MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect.
• Hands‑on MuleSoft integration development and architecture.
• API design and integration patterns.
• Cloud platforms – Azure and/or AWS (desirable).
