Mining Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mining Engineer to lead the planning, design, and oversight of our mining operations. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure projects meet safety, environmental, and operational standards while driving efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize mine plans using CAD and specialized mine planning software.
• Conduct geotechnical analyses and assess geological data to support safe extraction.
• Coordinate with engineering, HSE, and operations teams to implement project schedules.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 3–5 years of experience in mining operations, exploration, or geoscience.
• Strong understanding of geological principles, mineral deposits, and exploration methods.
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage project deliverables.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Experience using mine planning software.
• Knowledge of geotechnical analysis tools.
