Mid-level Automation / DevOps Engineer (Philippines)

About the role

We are looking for a mid-level Automation / DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain tools that improve software delivery and reliability for both new MPC and legacy systems. You will work closely with stakeholders and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate workflows and enhance system performance, ultimately delivering a better customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement new development tools and infrastructure.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear developer requirements while following established processes.
• Automate and optimise development and release workflows, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy updates and fixes, providing Level 2 technical support.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of production incidents and resolve technical issues.
• Create scripts and utilities to reduce errors and improve user experience.
• Define procedures for system troubleshooting and routine maintenance.

Required profile

• At least three years of experience in DevOps or automation engineering, preferably in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proactive problem‑solver who takes ownership of tasks and drives continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on clear documentation.
• Flexibility to adapt to operational requirements and evolving technologies.

Required skills

• Git and GitHub workflow proficiency.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
• Scripting expertise in Python or Ruby.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
