Medical Support Associate (Doctor of Medicine) – Manila

About the role

The Medical Support Associate will work closely with doctors, nurses and pharmacists to provide timely medical assistance to patients enrolled in Eucalyptus’ weight‑management program. Based in Manila, the role focuses on triaging patient enquiries, assessing side‑effects, and ensuring safe, accurate communication throughout treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Triaging and assessing patient emails, evaluating severity of side‑effects and providing appropriate information or escalation.
• Responding promptly with accurate medical advice while adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Monitoring patient progress via tracking data and initiating outreach to improve treatment adherence.
• Coordinating communications with general practitioners and pharmacies, including GP letters and medication updates.
• Conducting regular 4‑month and 8‑month reviews of patient progress and treatment plans.

Required profile

• Medical degree (Doctor of Medicine) or equivalent clinical qualification.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to convey complex medical information clearly.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and triage of patient enquiries.
• Knowledge of weight‑management therapies, including GLP‑1 medications.
• Familiarity with email‑based patient support workflows.
