Medical Representative – Oncology (Cebu)

About the role

AstraZeneca is seeking an Oncology‑focused Medical Representative to join its sales team in Cebu. The role involves promoting approved oncology medicines to healthcare professionals, building strong relationships, and contributing to the company’s mission of delivering life‑changing therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Engage healthcare professionals in discussions about approved oncology indications, efficacy, and safety to support on‑label prescribing.
• Develop deep knowledge of disease pathways, patient journeys, market dynamics, and product details within the assigned therapeutic area.
• Collaborate with the Area Manager to create and execute territory‑specific sales strategies and business plans.
• Achieve sales targets, forecast accurately, and manage assigned budgets.
• Map and develop stakeholder relationships across key hospitals and territories.
• Prepare and execute key account plans to expand business opportunities.
• Participate in district and regional task forces, and act as a trainer and mentor for new and fellow Medical Representatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven experience as a pharmaceutical sales representative.
• Strong external and internal relationship‑building abilities.
• Effective communication, influencing, and networking skills.
• Self‑starter attitude with confidence in personal presentation and sales techniques.
• Willingness to be assigned anywhere in the Philippines.
• Valid driver’s license.
