Mechanical Engineer – Pump Design & CAD Specialist

About the role

The Mechanical Engineer will support the design and development of pump products, plumbing solutions, and related mechanical systems for an Australia‑based client. The role is based onsite in Angeles, Clark, or Mabalacat City and involves creating detailed CAD models, performing calculations, and ensuring compliance with Australian standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D CAD models of existing and new pump products using SolidWorks.
• Translate 3D models into high‑quality 2D drawings suitable for manufacturing.
• Develop mechanical designs, perform validation calculations, and ensure adherence to relevant standards.
• Produce bills of materials and build specifications for production.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Update or create technical documentation such as manuals, risk assessments, datasheets, and testing plans.
• Review completed work for manufacturing suitability and OH&S compliance.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mining, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of pumps, plumbing solutions, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with Australian design standards.
