Mechanical Engineer – Power Solutions Design

About the role

Acbel Polytech Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its Calamba site. The role focuses on designing and developing mechanical components and systems that support the company’s energy‑efficient power solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concepts, detailed designs, and prototypes for mechanical components used in power solutions.
• Create and review 3D CAD models and technical drawings.
• Perform mechanical analyses, including tolerance and reliability assessments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and compliance with quality standards.
• Support testing, validation, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation and assist in resolving engineering issues during production.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, R&D, and manufacturing staff to meet project timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong foundation in mechanical systems and components.
• Hands‑on experience with CAD tools for 3D modeling and drawing preparation.
• Ability to work on‑site in a collaborative engineering environment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality standards, and design‑for‑manufacture principles.
• Project management capability and R&D experience.
• Experience in power electronics or energy‑efficient systems is an advantage.
