Mechanical Engineer – Power Generation

About the role

DMCI Power Corporation is seeking a Registered Mechanical Engineer to support its power generation portfolio in Makati. The role focuses on evaluating existing mechanical and electromechanical systems for improvement and designing new mechanical solutions for upcoming power plant projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and optimise mechanical and electromechanical systems at existing plant sites.
• Design mechanical components and systems for new power generation facilities.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide technical guidance during construction and commissioning phases.

Required profile

• Registered/Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
• Minimum three years of technical experience in design or construction of power plants or substations.
• Strong project management and planning abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design.
