Mechanical Design Engineer (Overseas Assignment Opportunities)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to create and improve machine designs for our customers. The role involves developing new equipment, evaluating existing machines, and supporting production to ensure efficient operations. Candidates should have strong CAD expertise and a problem‑solving mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Create new machine designs, program operations, and assemble machines according to customer specifications and mechanical drawings.
• Evaluate current machine conditions, implement improvements, and verify effectiveness to boost efficiency and quality.
• Conduct Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) to identify potential failures and their causes.
• Assist production teams in troubleshooting and repairing machine breakdowns to maintain smooth operations.
• Research and develop innovative or enhanced machine designs to increase productivity and longevity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Experience with Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA).
