Material Planner

About the role

The Material Planner will ensure that all material requirements for production are accurately forecasted, ordered, and delivered on time. This role supports both direct and indirect material flows, helping the plant run efficiently while minimizing costs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop weekly, monthly and yearly Materials Requirement Plans based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
• Monitor material movements and completion to avoid production delays.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels in raw‑material and internal non‑food warehouses.
• Schedule orders to keep inventory at optimal levels and ensure on‑time, in‑full deliveries.
• Generate OTIF performance reports and assess supplier reliability.
• Communicate order status and supply constraints to internal customers.
• Coordinate with purchasing, operations and co‑planners to resolve supply deviations quickly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing or FMCG, preferably in production planning or inventory control.
• Strong understanding of procurement and production systems.
• Excellent communication and proactive problem‑solving abilities.
