Marketing Executive - Product Development

About the role

The Marketing Executive will support the Product Development Manager across the full product development lifecycle, from new product concepts to reformulations of existing items. This execution‑focused position handles market research, brief creation, product storytelling, competitive tracking and launch coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct weekly market research using TikTok MarketScope data, analysing GMV, growth rates, buyer trends and top products.
• Track competitor activity – new launches, pricing, claims, content angles and TikTok performance – and produce benchmarking summaries.
• Identify white‑space opportunities and present findings to the Product Development Manager.
• Draft Marketing and Customer Experience briefs for each SKU, incorporating product name, key selling points, target consumer, campaign angle and visual direction.
• Write on‑pack copy, develop product narratives and ensure alignment with brand positioning.
• Maintain the NPD/XPD master tracker, updating status, stability milestones, formulation changes and cost implications.
• Prepare weekly alignment updates and sales‑and‑marketing one‑pagers for cross‑functional meetings.
• Coordinate launch readiness, monitoring content, stock, regulatory clearance, channel preparation and pricing confirmation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret market data and consumer insights.
• Excellent written communication for creating briefs, copy and product stories.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with R&D, creative, regulatory and supply‑chain teams.
• Detail‑oriented approach to tracker maintenance and launch coordination.
