About the role
The Manufacturing Technician III ensures smooth operation of production equipment on the assembly line, handling both automatic and manual machinery. The role focuses on setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to minimize downtime while upholding quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain machine operation to meet production targets.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and equipment changeovers.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and document downtime.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams on process improvements.
- Implement 5S+1 and TPM practices.
Required profile
- Graduate of vocational, technical or diploma courses with at least 3 years of similar experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, SOPs and part drawings.
- Associate degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electro‑Mechanical or Automation.
- Knowledge of safety standards and basic computer skills for logging data.
