Manufacturing Director

About the role

We are a leading food manufacturing company seeking a Manufacturing Director for our Central Visayas site. The role oversees end‑to‑end production, ensuring that output meets quality, safety, and timeliness standards while driving operational and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing operations, aligning production with agreed quality and service standards.
• Monitor labor cost utilization and ensure production targets and turnaround times are met.
• Drive manufacturing KPIs, report performance versus operational and financial goals.
• Evaluate and implement CAPEX projects to improve productivity, expand capacity, and introduce new capabilities.
• Implement TPM programs and enforce integrated management systems across production areas.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, quality, and certification requirements.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Oversee inventory control, capacity‑expansion projects, and documentation compliance.
• Develop and coach direct reports through performance management, succession planning, and competency building.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or related field.
• Exposure to food manufacturing, food sciences, or operations management.
• Minimum 10 years experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role within plant operations.
