Maintenance Worker

About the role

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of facilities and equipment through routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs. This role supports a safe and efficient workplace by addressing maintenance requests and emergency situations promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of premises, facilities, and mechanical equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, tools, electrical systems, plumbing, and building structures.
• Handle basic repairs such as fixing leaks, replacing light fixtures, painting, carpentry, and minor electrical work.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records of work performed, repairs completed, and materials used.

Required profile

• Proven maintenance experience with a High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and detail‑oriented skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field and follow safety regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand and power tools (hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches).
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and electronic testing devices.
• Capability to read blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
