Maintenance Technician - Toledo

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician for CBRE in Toledo, you will be responsible for the upkeep of small to medium‑sized commercial buildings, ensuring that mechanical, electrical and other building systems operate safely and efficiently. The role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance and timely repairs under the guidance of senior engineering staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical and other building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnose issues and execute corrective actions.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders, track completion using the company’s maintenance system.
• Support energy‑management initiatives by monitoring system performance.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Required profile

• High School diploma, GED or trade‑school certificate with 1‑2 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb ladders and lift loads of 50 lb or more.
• Ability to follow standard work routines and procedures.
• Clear communication skills for straightforward information exchange.
• Strong organizational mindset and inquisitive attitude.

Required skills
