Maintenance Technician – Lahug, Cebu

About the role

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support small to medium‑sized buildings and industrial systems in Lahug, Cebu. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and assist with equipment installations while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnose issues, and execute necessary repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders, track completion, and update tracking systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring efficient operation of building systems.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Follow established procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Deliver work under close supervision, adhering to defined processes.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1‑2 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders and lift/carry loads of 50 lb or more.
• Capability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Effective communication skills for exchanging straightforward information.
• Strong organizational mindset with an inquisitive attitude.
