About the role
The Bank is seeking a motivated Legal Officer to provide comprehensive legal support to the Department Head. This entry‑level position is ideal for fresh bar passers or newly admitted lawyers who want to launch their career in the banking sector.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review contracts, pleadings, legal opinions, and reports.
- Conduct legal research and case analysis to support decision‑making.
- Attend court, quasi‑judicial, and administrative proceedings as required.
- Provide legal advice and support to various internal departments.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, external counsel, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with banking laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Required profile
- Law graduate or Bar Examination passer (fresh bar passers are welcome).
- Strong legal research, analytical, and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of banking laws, regulations, and compliance is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Bacoor, Cavite.
