Learning & Development Manager

About the role

The Learning & Development (L&D) Manager will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of learning programmes that build the knowledge, skills and compliance of PwC South East Asia Consulting staff. The role primarily supports the Financial Crime Unit, ensuring employees are equipped to address fraud, money‑laundering and related regulatory risks.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct needs analysis, design, develop, deliver and evaluate L&D programmes, workshops and initiatives aligned with firm goals, covering soft skills, consulting, technical, leadership and compliance topics.
• Lead onboarding and new‑joiner training programmes.
• Partner with quality teams and analysts to identify performance gaps and future learning needs.
• Develop and source learning materials such as e‑learning modules, manuals, videos and presentations.
• Facilitate L&D sessions personally or with internal/external trainers.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using appropriate frameworks and methodologies.
• Design cost‑effective learning solutions for all job grades.
• Stay current with learning technologies and tools to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with firm leaders and HC partners to leverage existing onboarding and L&D programmes.
• Monitor changes in consulting practice, policies and regulations to adjust L&D needs.
• Design and implement change‑management initiatives related to learning.
• Identify leadership competency gaps and develop individual development plans.
• Design, develop and deliver leadership development programmes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading L&D programmes within a professional services or consulting environment.
• Experience supporting a Financial Crime or compliance‑focused unit.
• Strong ability to analyse performance gaps and translate them into learning solutions.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of learning technologies and change‑management practices.
