Lead Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Engineer to drive the next iteration of our successful platform. You will champion best practices, improve engineering culture, and enable the business to scale through strong technical leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical voice of the development team, owning release timelines and aligning them with product goals.
• Negotiate and refine functional requirements with UX designers and product managers during user story grooming.
• Manage technical debt, balancing immediate product needs with long‑term scalability.
• Lead cross‑functional teams (developers, UX designers, product managers) through complex product development.
• Mentor the team on Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD) and Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and promote test automation.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, handle production incidents, and drive root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Deep technical expertise in software development with strong leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in BDD and TDD, and experience mentoring teams on test automation.
• Extensive experience delivering products using Agile SCRUM, including story grooming, risk mitigation, and accurate story pointing.
• Hands‑on experience with production environments and CI/CD practices.
• Minimum 3 years of experience deploying and managing production on AWS or Azure.
