Lawyer – Corporate & Construction

About the role

New San Jose Builders, Inc. is seeking a full‑time Lawyer to work on‑site in Quezon City. The role involves providing legal advice, drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting legal research and representing the company in various legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of the Legal Department with assigned matters and conduct legal and factual research.
• Provide legal advice and assistance to all company departments.
• Supervise and support legal assistants in their tasks.
• Process, document and monitor legal requests for drafting or reviewing contracts and other legal documents.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, legal opinions and related documents with external parties.
• Assist the corporate secretary in drafting, reviewing and maintaining corporate documents and records.
• Handle active litigation cases (civil, criminal, labour, administrative) including drafting pleadings, motions and representing the company in hearings.
• Conduct factual and legal research for assigned cases and special projects.

Required profile

• Full‑time, on‑site availability in Quezon City.
• Ability to collaborate with the Head of the Legal Department and other company departments.
