Laboratory Assistant

About the role
The Laboratory Assistant supports the Quality Control (QC) team by maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates with a high school education who are eager to gain hands‑on experience in a regulated lab setting.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of the QC area and ensure all surfaces are sanitized.
- Clean laboratory glassware and equipment in the microbiology and physico‑chemical sections.
- Organize and handle sampling of QC retention samples stored in the retention cabinet.
- Assist the QC Analyst in disposing of retention samples marked for discarding.
- Participate in weekly or monthly QC department meetings.
- Attend mandatory trainings and seminars as required by the company.
Required profile
- High school graduate.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented laboratory environment.
