Kitchen Staff – Food Preparation & Service

About the role

Join Opaa! Food Management as a Kitchen Staff member to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, support serving lines, and assist with occasional catering events. You will work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment ensuring food quality, safety, and excellent presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain serving lines, ensuring food is held at required temperatures.
• Prepare foods according to menu plans and Opaa! recipes, including baking breads, cakes, and cookies.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas, kitchen, cafeteria, and dishwashing stations.
• Manage inventory using FIFO procedures and keep cooler/storage racks tidy.
• Record production data, temperature logs, and comply with HACCP, HHFKA and CACFP regulations.
• Follow safety policies, report unsafe conditions, and participate in safety incentive programs.
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and uphold Opaa!’s core values.

Required profile

• Ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety guidelines.
• Certification to operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, and grinders.
• Attention to detail for temperature monitoring and record‑keeping.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a team‑oriented kitchen environment.
• Commitment to attend trainings and adhere to company policies.
