Junior High School Mathematics Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Mathematics teacher to join our junior high school faculty. The successful candidate will guide students in exploring mathematical concepts, fostering critical thinking and a love for learning. The role involves creating an engaging learning environment, aligning instruction with curriculum standards, and supporting students' academic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit lesson plans using the prescribed format to the Subject Area Coordinator.
• Deliver daily mathematics lessons to assigned classes, adapting plans as needed.
• Evaluate student progress through quizzes, tests, exams and projects, providing timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and conduct parent‑teacher conferences.
• Participate in year‑level and subject‑area meetings, faculty activities, and serve on committees.
• Proctor examinations and substitute for absent teachers when required.
• Implement classroom management routines and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Secondary Education with a professional teaching license.
• At least one year of teaching experience in secondary education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a warm, flexible attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (G Suite) applications.
