Junior Developer, IT Digital Workplace Development

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Developer to join our Digital Workplace team, supporting the design, development, and maintenance of web‑based tools and Power Platform solutions. The role works closely with our colleagues in Germany to translate requirements into functional applications.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, deploy and maintain Digital Workplace tools following coding standards.
• Collaborate with the German team to gather requirements and deliver projects end‑to‑end.
• Plan, estimate and prioritize development tasks.
• Create technical and end‑user documentation.
• Perform testing, debugging and code reviews.
• Migrate SharePoint sites and PowerApps solutions.
• Research new technologies and produce proof‑of‑concept reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of web development experience.
• Experience with Agile software development and ability to handle changing requirements.
• Strong customer‑service and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, analytical and a good team player.

• Microsoft Power Platform – Power Apps (Canvas/Model‑Driven), Power Automate, PowerFx
• Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) or SPA development
• Integration with Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, enterprise systems
• GitHub (source control, branching, pull requests, code reviews)
• UI/UX design principles and basic prototyping tools
• Secure coding practices and handling application secrets
• Modern architecture patterns (component‑based, MVC/MVVM)
• SharePoint Online, Office 365, Azure Services (App Services, Functions, Storage) and Azure AD/Entra ID
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps)
