Junior Buyer

About the role

Sealed Air Philippines is seeking a Junior Buyer to support daily procurement operations across multiple sites. The role involves coordinating material sourcing, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of indirect purchases.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and verifying purchase requisitions across departments.
• Prepare, validate, and issue indirect purchase orders while handling supplier communication.
• Monitor open orders, update supplier records, and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Conduct market research, price benchmarking, and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost‑effective solutions.
• Develop dual‑sourcing strategies for critical items to mitigate supply‑chain risk.
• Review and renegotiate expiring high‑value contracts for better terms.
• Support vendor audits and manage vendor master data in SAP and ISAIAS.
• Validate invoices against purchase orders and delivery receipts.
• Handle inter‑site logistics, including packaging and transmittal of documents and materials.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or 0‑2 years of experience in procurement or supply‑chain functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
