Junior Active Directory Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Active Directory Administrator to join our IT team. You will support day‑to‑day AD operations, assist senior engineers, and gain hands‑on experience with enterprise identity services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer user accounts, groups, and organizational units in a structured environment.
• Perform routine provisioning, updates, and de‑provisioning of AD objects.
• Assist with Group Policy implementation, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor AD health indicators, log incidents, and escalate issues as needed.
• Document procedures, support activities, and maintain operational reports.
• Provide basic Windows administration tasks related to AD services.
• Support operational tools, reports, and team documentation.

Required profile

• Fundamental knowledge of Windows Server and core services.
• Basic understanding of AD, DNS, DHCP concepts.
• Familiarity with Group Policy concepts and access troubleshooting.
• Ability to review logs, follow standard troubleshooting steps, and know when to escalate.
• Willingness to learn PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Interest in hybrid identity (Azure AD, AD Connect) and Windows Admin Center.
